The pergola featured here was built locally in Fort Collins, Colorado by Esh Construction. The homeowner and Esh Construction collaborated aesthetic and structural design ideas to come up with a pergola design that would be both attractive and functional. The final building plan was then sent to a local engineer for approval. After being approved by the engineer, it was sent to the City of Fort Collins Building Department to acquire a building permit.

This pergola consists of premium, rough cut cedar material. It features a 6x12x24ft cedar support beam. Above that support beam the center tier is raised and utilizes a 6x12x10ft cedar support beam. The pergola is accented with lighting and custom stone columns that surround 6×6 support posts placed side by side.
