Multi-Level Composite Deck with boardwalk

This deck was built near Fort Collins, Colorado on a beautiful waterfront property. We partnered with a great landscape company that provided the design and landscape for this project. The goal was to end up with a beautiful deck space that would not obstruct the view of the lake. This meant that the deck needed to be tiered with multiple levels so that extensive railing would not be required.

The planter boxes were one of the main custom features for this deck. They were framed with pressure treated lumber, lined with a thick rubber water barrier, and finished with stucco to match the house.

The homeowner chose NewTechWood Ultrashield decking which turned out to be a great product. This decking is not as common and was a special order despite the fact that it is manufactured in the United States. We had great results with it and look forward to using it again.
