Composite Deck with Cedar Privacy Pergola built by Esh Construction

This cedar pergola was built with the intention of providing additional privacy from an adjacent street and nearby construction as well as provide a sun shade from Colorado’s intense sunlight.

The existing deck posts were replaced with 6×6 cedar posts that extend up to support the pergola beams. The back side of the pergola is attached to the existing home with TimberLok screws and 2×6 joist hangers.
