The building featured here is a 16×36 pole barn structure that was built to be used as a hay barn for large, square bales. The posts were set in concrete to increase wind resistance and double LVL beams were used to span the large opening. We sheeted the interior of the pole barn with 3/4″ OSB to increase strength and used 26 gauge steel for the exterior walls and roof.
