Esh Construction prides itself in quality built structures. Our business was originally established as a company that sold only octagon gazebos as high end landscape features. Since then we have expanded to offer many other structures which include post frame buildings. That same craftsmanship that is required on an engineered, octagon gazebo is now applied to every structure we build. This results in builders that pay more attention to detail and accomplish a nicer finish.
A pressure treated portion of each post simply extends below grade to individual concrete footings. This removes the need for a concrete foundation and typically saves cost. A floating concrete floor can then be added at any time after construction of the post frame building. This is one of the key differences in a post frame design versus a traditional stick built design.
Our post frame buildings consist of a wood frame with steel siding. Popular options include R-10 insulation package (condensation blanket) that can be installed between the wood frame and steel siding to keep the building warm or cool. The posts consist of a pressure treated 6×6 or 3-ply engineered wood column with the lower portion being pressure treated to prevent moisture damage. The most common siding is a 29 gauge, corrugated steel panel which is available in many colors. There are also several premium options, such as 28, and 26 gauge steel.
Currently we do not build multi-use buildings that include habitable living space. Those types of applications have extensive permit requirements that require services from other trade professionals. We recommend hiring a general contractor to oversee those types of projects. Our pole barns are ideal for accessory building applications such as workshop, garage, storage, and agricultural uses. We are licensed contractors that are familiar with the local building code requirements and permit process for those applications.
Sites must be level prior to construction with positive drainage around the perimeter. We recommend that gutters be installed after our construction is complete to minimize moisture and prevent settling.
