The sun shade featured here is a 12×12 cedar pergola built in Loveland Colorado by Esh Construction LLC. The 6×6 posts were chosen as an upgrade for aesthetic reasons. The support beams are a double cedar 2×8 material and the rafters are 2×6’s spaced 16″ on center for additional shade. Small slats were added to the top to increase the amount of shade. This pergola was coated with a CedarCide product as well as a clear oil stain.
